Exterior
The BMW kidney grille with chrome-plated slats creates an intricate yet striking impression. A side view of the special 18-inch or 19-inch light-alloy wheels in the Multi-spoke design emphasises the elegance of the BMW 5 Series Touring with Luxury Line. The surrounds of the side windows are chrome-plated and the illuminated door handles have chrome inserts.
The front and rear aprons contain decorative chrome elements that add extra flair to the classical design of the Luxury Line. The exhaust pipe finishers are in high-gloss chrome; the B-pillars and the foot of the exterior mirror are in contrasting high-gloss Black.Interior
The interior of the Luxury Line sets standards with its selected design elements – like the fine-wood decorative surface in 'Fineline' Anthracite or Ash Grain Brown with inlays, combined with an exclusive accent trim strip in high-gloss chrome. The high-quality leather covers (in leather 'Dakota' Black, Veneto Beige or Oyster, or exclusive leather 'Nappa' Mocha, Ivory White, or Black, each with exclusive stitching, or leather 'Dakota' Cinnamon Brown or Black, each without exclusive stitching) with exclusive stitching emphasise the enticing atmosphere, as do the illuminated door sill finishers in the front and rear. Both the sport leather steering wheel and the M leather steering wheel impress with their sporty design and perfect ergonomics. Characteristic of the Luxury Line is the vehicle key with a decorative chrome strip.

One of sporty aesthetics’ finest hours: the optional M Sport package presents the future-orientated dynamics of the BMW 5 Series Touring at their most energetic. Exclusive equipment details create visual exclamation marks while the M Sport suspension* streamlines driving dynamics and improves performance.

Exterior
The exterior components of the M Aerodynamics package reinforce the sporty appearance of the BMW 5 Series Touring. Powerful air inlets give the flow-optimised front apron more presence. Side skirts with additional contour lines sharpen the vehicle profile; this is perfectly rounded off by the rear apron with exhaust pipe finishers in Dark Chrome and a striking diffusor in Dark Shadow metallic, which increases the contact pressure at high speeds. You have the choice between two M light-alloy wheels in Double-spoke style design: the 18-inch 613 M or the 19-inch 351 M.
Interior
As soon as you open the door, the M door sill finisher with chrome inserts and the M logo draws your gaze in to the interior of the M Sport package, where further exciting features await. The Sport seats are covered in an exclusive cloth/Alcantara combination Grey Shadow/Anthracite with the M look (optionally available as comfort seats for driver and front passenger in Dakota leather, black Nappa leather with exclusive stitching or BMW Individual leather). In the cockpit, the M multifunction steering wheel fits perfectly in the hand and allows the driver complete control. The interior trim strip, e.g. in Aluminium Hexagon and the BMW Individual headliner Anthracite add an athletic note.

The equipment packages Edition Sport and Edition Sport Pro guarantee an all-round athletic appearance: Selected equipment for the interior and exterior underscore the dynamic character of the BMW 5 Series Touring and ensure an extra-sporty driving experience.
Edition Sport Pro lends the interior an even more dynamic look. With the sport leather steering wheel and multifunctional instrument display, the driver enjoys complete control and can easily keep an eye on everything. The BMW sport seats are upholstered in leather 'Dakota' with exclusive stitching. As an alternative, comfort seats in leather 'Dakota' or exclusive leather 'Nappa' in Black, Mocha or Ivory White, each with exclusive stitching, are available. The Edition Sport Pro equipment including 18" light alloy wheels in Doublespoke style 609 and BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line accentuates the car's athletic appearance. LED fog lights are a dynamic design element that also improve visibility. Alternative equipment within the Edition Sport Pro includes 19'' light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 610 Bicolour and the BMW Individual Exterior Line Aluminium satiniated.
The Edition Sport equipment features lend the vehicle an athletic accent with 18'' light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 609 and BMW Individual highgloss Shadow Line. The LED fog lights further emphasise the car's dynamic appearance and improve visibility in fog. The attractive, high-grip sport leather steering wheel rounds off the interior of the Edition Sport. Travel & Comfort system, coat hanger
The coat hanger allows clothes to be transported without creasing. It can also be detached from the mounting and used to carry clothes outside the vehicle.
Travel & Comfort system, holder for Apple iPad
The BMW holder for Apple iPad is suitable for all iPad models. Using the holder, the iPad can be securely mounted on the base attachment of the Travel & Comfort system and released again at the push of a button. Angle and height can be adjusted as needed and the integrated support on the back allows the holder to also be set up outside the vehicle.
Snap-In adapter
The snap-in adapter is a safe and robust docking system with built-in rapid charging function suitable for Apple, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony and RIM/BlackBerry mobile phones. An external aerial ensures the best possible reception at all times, while reducing the amount of radiation in the vehicle interior. Depending on the vehicle equipment, the mobile in question and the snap-in adapter smartphone application, the driver can integrate smartphone applications via BMW.
Child restraint system with ISOFIX – BMW junior seat group 1 (with ISOFIX base)
The BMW junior seat group 1 is suitable for children from about 10 months to 3.5 years (approx. 9 to 18 kg). The child seat consists of a seat shell with its own five-point belt system and the ISOFIX base. The seat can easily be adjusted forwards and backwards on the ISOFIX base, if this is available. The patented built-in air pads guarantee high safety in side collisions and are also comfortably soft in daily use.
Travel & Comfort system, folding table
The Travel & Comfort system contains a folding table offering rear passengers a practical surface with height and angle adjustment. It also has a fold-out drinks holder with an elegant chrome ring.
